    My reworked Slash....

only ran it stock once before it all came apart... sealed the diff and put some mugen 5,000 wt in, 60 wt shock oil in the rear, 40 up front. All RPM suspension components, traxxas red toe links and turnbuckles, Proline hammer tires on RPM narrow wheels, big bore shock caps, LRP speed control, trinity 19t motor, spektrum radio, MIP CVD's, bearings for steering bellcranks. I hated the stock body so I repainted it.

Looks sweet! Did you have to cut the body to fit those tires in there with as low as it sets?

The pictures are great too, i like the surreal look

Im running a healthy amount of camber in the front but I did have to do a little trimming, trimming in the was rear was minimal the wheel offset was actually rather spot on for the fenders, I did raise the rear body mounts though, and I lined all the fenders with aluminum tape just in case I do get some rubbing.

it was pretty simple just some 120 grit sandpaper, followed by some 600 grit, windexed it all, then shot it with some Pactra Outlaw black.

they all have some post work done to them... mainly blending the mirror in with the background and changing the background color from blue to gray. The lighting is sooc (straight out of camera).

are you looking for a point and shoot or something like an entry level DSLR?

For point and shoot I recommend anything from Canon like the SD750 or A470.

If DSLR the Nikon D40 is an excellent camera.

Not to butt in here, but this is the Slash forum, not a camera forum. Please take up your conversation via PM if need be.

Anyway, nice looking truck and pictures!

Ill have to get back to you on that one, Ive yet to take it in the dirt with the new setup, on the street its not as bad as I thought it would be though, sway bars would definitely help but that would just be overkill on a truck like this.

Are those HDR photos? Good job. And for the guy saying this is an RC car forum not photography, this site would be sh%$ier than it is without photography. This is his thread, of his slash, with some some of the best photography here, so let us talk about it! If you ask me there should be a stickey of AlanScott telling us how to produce better pictures. Then maybe we wont have to look at some beat cell phone pictures that looks like a 5 year old took them and uploaded to your so called "photo gallery". Sounds like someone has got a woodie for just being some guy with keyboard power. Go sift through cell phone pictures and PM those five year olds with cell phones and tell them to look at the new AlanScott photography stickey. AlanScott's
