    Advice with new tires.

    Howdy everyone.

I would like to get some new tires and wheels for my summit. I know it may sound stupid but I really donít like the look of the factory wheels. Iím wondering if I could get some userís feedback on the tires theyíre using and what tires to avoid.

The use is going to be for crawling, mud, sand and maybe snow.
It looks like proline seems to be a popular brand?

    Thank you for any feedback

    I am using these.

Very happy with them but a lot harder than the traxxas tyres. Had to go back to the original springs in the back so the car didn't bounce going over rough terrain.

I know the grey is not to everyones taste but I think it looks good on my green summit.

Thanks for the feedback Paul. To be honest with you Iíve never seen the proline wheels in grey, they look cool.
At the moment my summit is completely stock so I wonít play with the suspension until I get new tires on it

I switched to RC4WD mudslinger tires. They work great for me. Some people have modded them to be even more aggressive. These too are stiffer than the stock tires. Here's the link:https://store.rc4wd.com/Mud-Slingers

Thanks for the info Grizzly. Unfortunately my lhs didn’t carry those so I ended up going with pre mounted Trenchers. The Trenchers are definitely a thicker/harder tire.
