    Titan 775 in rustler?

I was wondering if the titan 775 motor would work in a rustler. Iv'e read in e-revo forums that it would pull wheelies. The e-revo is a lot bigger than a rustler. This is the only brushed motor that iv'e seen that can pull a wheelie. Would it fit in a rustler? Imagine the insane wheelies and awsome torque. What do you think?

I doubt it would fit in a rusty. The motor is physically huge. The bolt hole on the motor are spaced different than a typical 540/550 motor.

i think it would be too big because the 550motors don't have very much clearance, thou you could maybe able to dremel away your tranny to get it to fit

edit: john you could always drill new hole on your plastic tranny but not such a good idea on a aluminum one
if you can control it, it is too slow

But just imagine the power and wheelies and it is only a brushed motor

If you want "insane wheelies and awesome torque" you need a VXl setup.

Yeah you could drill new holes i guess but I still doubt it would fit. As said about the 550's just barely fit. Would take some work. Anythings possable if you have the will to do it.

you are going to need that 47t pinion and 90t spur probably because it is going to have to be far away from the tranny to fit

The wheelies...more like the weight of the motor sitting on the back half of the truck pulling the front end in the air because it is too heavy. It works better on a truck that has a centrally mounted transmission because the motor is pretty heavy probably twice the weight of a titan motor.

any good brushed modified motor should pull wheelies without an issue as long as your using a good battery.

Could you make it work? Sure. Is it practical? Absolutely not. The thing weighs too much to be feasible in any way.

You haven't seen very many good brushed motors, then. Frankly, neither have I. My Electrifly S-600 hardly qualifies, yet it can pull great wheelies on 6 cells, geared pretty high - 28/83. Way more power than the stock titan motor, and about same size/weight.

I say if you just wanna get a bigger motor, don't just get a brushless one
