trx receiver & trinity batt.. pack questions

on the receiver, there is an empty slot which says battery. what is it for and what can you use it with? besides using that for the mechanical speed controlled models.

other question is about trinity's reference battery packs. are they good quality for bashing in the yard and the neighborhood

You can plug a receiver battery into it. I use mine for a homemade esc fan though.

The battery should be nice for bashing.

In theory, yes. It should work. I had an extra connector from a charger adapter to use.

sounds like a good deal. but i don't see how trinity packs are over priced unless you mean that yes ener g 4200 is a better deal (In Price) compared to trinities 4200

other packs like 3600 on down are the better buy compared to other brands

i wasn't specific on my mAh ratings but i plan on getting trinity reference packs that are 3600 mah with out trx connectors for $23. i get more juice for less compared to other packs in this range.

i dont know alot about the web site or the packs. i would rather get something i am familiar with

all based from Tower web page
