    Changing hollow balls

I'd like to adjust some of the caster settings as well as changing the front and rear roll centers. In order to keep bump steer in check I'll need to adjust the hollow balls. I've read that ball link pliers are the best tool for this job, but can it be done with regular hand tools? If so, what do you use and how do you do it?

you can use a small socket from a ratchet set and put it in a vice, if you don't have a vice you can use Craftsman robo-grips or C clamps if you have those.

you can use this method to install or remove the hollow balls.

I've got a couple sets of robo-grips and some sockets. I'll see how that works out.
