That is one awesome paint job. I've been doing them for years and you have wrecked my dreams of ever having a good paint job LOL!

    Awesome truck!!

That is amazing. I picked the wrong week to go out and buy a new clear Pro-Line Hardcore body for my Slayer and try to do a cool paint job!

Nice truck...I have been running this Ivan Stewart replica for a while now.

yours appears to be like the 1986 truck of Ivans

Mine is from just before he retired, sponsored by bfg for tires and MCI towards the end

Good to see some people still recognize the king of off road racing!

Quinn, What kind of body do you have on yours? It looks different from all the ones I have seen.

He is right. The body is from JC Concepts, called the "truths" body. I think it is one of the best looking slash bodies out right now. However, those of you that purchase one....Re inforce the underneath with thin aluminum & small rivets. Under the roof where "hood scoop" is and where the truck bed meets the fenders. It only took one qualifier in columbus Ohio to crack these parts of the body -

Other than that I have no coplaints - It is interesting to take this body to the track - some people will just say "cool paint job"...others will imediately say "It's an Ivan Truck!"

Depends on if you were into it back in the day I guess.

Either way, this is as close as us mear mortals will ever get to driving a 500hp million dollar truck developed back when TRD had unlimitted funds across the desert - Enjoy your body and the more u get it dirty....the more it looks like the real truck!!

its not a slayer, but a slash with the Stewart body. The toyota decals were added after this pic was taken
