this thing is so cute... I am a fanatic fan of Revo's... this would be super cool to have when we pause for a break when racing... hope I can afford one though...

I believe prices will be around 250-300. It should be around the cost of a Rustler/Stampede/Bandit VXL. Between it being smaller (but being a monster truck) I think the price should level out.

Arrival time was stated as May 20th by my sources.

They won't be $200 that's for sure. It looks like they would be in competition with the likes of Associated 1/18th's ($180ish depending on store) but those aren't brushless. I'd be astounded if they're less than $250.

Until Traxxas makes a mini road car, they still have competition. I would consider selling my 18R if that happened. As of now, it's top notch.

But as far as 18MT or T. True that, Traxxas has it down, especially with the inclusion of a brushless setup.

No way. The suspension is too plush, too good specialized for off-road to be worth anything on-road. Trust me.

lol, you are making somewhat of a point. That's true Traxxas is more off road handling, not on road stuff.

Well it's proven with the 4Tec that Traxxas knows how to design a road car. They need firm suspension and a low chassis. But you can't just put road treads on a truck and call it race worthy.

Maybe Traxxas will shock the rc world and unleash a 1/16 4-Tec VXL at the show. Haven't they been nosing around on-road racing recently? Maybe a 1/16 T-Maxx.... Maybe they have a crawler.... Perhaps a 1/10 E-Slayer VXL.... How about a 1/10 water proof VXL.... I would be more surprised if Traxxas doesn't have something top secret to drop on the rc world at the RCX show.

A 1/16 4-tec VXL or just a brushed one, will compete w/ some other cars including DTX Vendetta TC, and maybe the Xray, if I'm correct, but Xray is way out there. lol

I would like to see a 1/16 E-Maxx. Cute little bash truck. lol

Yes I said "Cute" again. Gosh.

Waiting for that wp VXL system for 1/10 trucks.

    A 1/16th 4-Tec, that would be cool!
