Umm, it's not actually a Slash?

Hmm, the 1/16th Slash actually appears to be a 1/16 E-Slayer or some such...
    4WD, rocker suspension, two batts...yeah, it's Revo-based, so wouldn't it be an E-Slayer?

They are calling it a slash because the slash was a GIANT hit and the slayer from what I can tell was pretty much a flop.

Seriously. If Traxxas calls it a Slash that's good enough for me. They could call it the turd if they wanted. I'm still buying one. Hummm. maybe I should do that!! When people start asking what it is I'll call it the new traxxas turd. Maybe people will be less enthusiastic about wanting to pick it up and touch it

Why cant it be a Slash, there both electric. When Traxxas made a mini 4WD Slash they used the mini E-Revo platform. Only if they called the Slayer a Nitro 4WD Slash we could avoid this whole problem .

If you have never owend a Slayer than it could be a flop. If more people drove them Im sure more would sell.

This is a REALLY old argument. I think it is whatever you want to call it. Yes, it says "Slash" on the truck, but who cares. Josh's right, the trucks rock, names don't make this thing go 30-50mph, and that's what matters. I don't care for this argument, but I'm just saying what I think. I don't mind if it is Slash or Slayer.

I didnt mean it was a bad vehicle, I just meant it really hasnt sold all that well compared to the slash. I mean they have discounted the price quite a bit on tower and other sites for a reason.

In comparison to the Slash sales, the Slayer was a FLOP! It also FLOPS alot on its lid when you turn hard............. mini Slash, mini Slayer, mini Turd... it's all good. I'll take 4 to start off with and give them my own names.
