My latest bashing video with my 2.0. Busted a rear tierod about 5 minutes in, and somewhere along the line I broke my servo saver where it holds the bearing. It still drove, but wandered a bit. Was running some new liperior 45c 5000mah 3s packs again and they are performing really well. After running with trenchers for the past year, I'm thinking of getting a set of arrma backflips for it. I really like those for where I bash and they are a lot lighter, so will be easier on the truck. Just will have to gear it up a bit as they are a hair smaller OD, but I can likely get away with +2 on the pinion and pick up a bit more top speed without overheating things considering their weight is so much less.
This was the second time I ran into anyone running RC's here. Was fun running with other people for a change. They were all nearly out of trucks and packs when I got there, so didn't get much time running with them. With the way they were driving, most of them seemed pretty new and they were arrma heavy. The one guy that was a bit older said he just finished running his xmaxx and erbev2, but was running a kraton when I got there. Went Side by Side Trail riding on the Barracks Trail in southern Utah back in October. Had a chance to do a little sand tire bashing along the way. Revo did so much better in the sand. The GoPro front mount I made helped to keep the front wheels down on the ground. The Xmaxx was hard to control because of all the wheeling. Sure was fun though.
