    Novak Havoc 8.5 shutting down?

I just bought the Novak havoc sport 8.5 brushless system for my slash. This is my first brushless system.

Battery is a 5000mah 7 cell, Stock TQ radio. gearing is 86/17. Running on street only. no jumps.

My very first run it would shut down after about 4 mins, meaning no speed control but I would have steering. The red and grenn lights will flash back and forth. Then it you can turn it off and back on and it would run fine for about another 4 mins then shut off again.

The temp on the motor was only 89.4

the temp on the ESC was only 85.6.

There is no glitching from the radio. All the wires snug where they are supposed to be.

Any idea what is going on?

Your running NiHm's , so Im thinking the LVC is not disabled and shutting power down. My VXL did the same thing until I disabled the LVC on the esc.

Red & Green status LEDs alternating––Li-Po Cut-Off triggered—Replace or charge battery. Incorrect battery selection or battery voltage may be too low
    right in the manual.

You guys are right. Like I said it is my first brushless system.
I was going to delete this thread once I found it in the manual after posting this. I'm 39 yrs. old and I still act like a kid. Just slap it in the trcuk and run it. But let this be a lesson for others.
    Just read the manual.
