    Some bashin' from yesterday... (pics)

Well, Since I've had my truck for almost 3-4 weeks now it hasnt seen much dirt/sand... Till yesterday...
I went and picked up some paddles and Proline dirt dawgs in the 2.2 size with some RPM holeshot wheels(I think thats what the style is????)

There's a resturaunt/bar near my house with a bunch of unused sand volleyball courts, we decided to turn them into a sort of track/ freeride area... Started out with a jump, then a couple of birms and yet another jump....It's a simple circle track right now but every day that we go over there we're gonna do a bit more till hopefully we have a nice lil course...
I didnt get any pics of my truck in action, but i got some decent pics of my neighbors rusty using my paddles...

Edit: I was runnin 16/90 gearing in the sand, I might try 15/90 today, Does that sound about right to keep my MM5700 motor happy in the sand?????
    Hope you enjoy

From the picture it looks like a little bit of work and you could have yourself a nice personal track Thats my project now, its harder than it looks or sounds but it will be worth it in the end

It looks like you have a good start. I wonder if you are running into the same problem I'm having with not having enough time to finish the track...

THe pipes are for the volleyball nets that are not up....

    Shovels...uh to move dirt...

We made another 8-9 jumps today so we have a nice lil track goin....
The problem is that we wanna run the trucks more than work on the track...
THe owner of the bar came out and told us we should get a bunch of people together and set up a race, said he'd put 250$ up for prize money..lol
    Not gonna happen though...lol

edit: uploaded a couple of pics from my phone...
My rustler with the new shoes on it, and a few more jumps we made today.....
Nothin special but fun as heck none the less!

on a side note, I built a big kicker ramp to try and pull off a backflip, but so far I can only manage to land the poor rusty on its lid...

it's awesome to have a bar owner letting your playing on his field, let alone giving out prize for a RC race lol

Yeah when he pulled up i thought for sure we were done...
    But he was really cool...
I think i Might pass his offer to host a race on to a couple local shops and see if we cant get some people over there to build a better track(one with turns...lol)
The owner offered to clear some more of the field and bring in more sand! lol
I can see this getting wayyyyy outta hand!

I just like having a place to run that isnt all cement...
Theres a huge lot( about 1/4 of a mile long by maybe 750 feet wide) that was just repaved about 200 feet from our spot too.... I need to get me some lipo power!
