What engine/pipe combo are you running?

The only thing I can think of is put an exhaust deflector on your pipes stinger.

The only way I think you can make your Jato quieter is making your exhaust more restrictive. However, that would cause more back pressure thus causing the engine to overheat and eventually damage it. It does amaze me how such a small engine can sound so loud.

You can: Not run it, convert to electric, put the stock pipe back on, and the last option is to run in dirt or grass. Concrete makes it echo. Even going from concrete to grass, at the same rpm, you'll notice a difference.

Grimefighter338 is right but i strongly dissagree with his sig. Im tired of people saying Obama is legalizing weed, making firearms readily available and what not. All that goes through the congress and they have the vote to go against or with the president. So dont get mad at your president get mad at the congress and senate that you happily voted for

all due respect Grimefighter338, we are all rc brothers, no flame war intended, just my honest opinion, but is more of a fact.

By the way my bro and I were playing around and put a gas funnel on the end of the stinger and it made it 50x louder, without effectig the performance or tuning. This means that something can do the oppisite effect. The plastic funnel was very thin and carried more vibrations making it louder so some material that is thicker and carries way less vibrations will make it queiter. Thats why the older plastic pipes on the old tmaxx and smaxx 2.5 are quiter because the plstic was thicker carrying less vibrations while metal pipes are louder because they are carrying way more vibrations

    my theory

I think that the traxxas deflector actually makes my car run louder.

install a 2.5 jato pipe on it, the plastic one, it will quiet it down by almost half. You'll loose alot of torque, but it's actually a little more user friendly, I'll throw that pipe on and let my son drive it.

I would be careful putting the stock 2.5 pipe on a 3.3, there might be too much back pressure that way...

Na, the pipe is a small block pipe. All small block pipes work with all small-block engines(I am pretty sure...). The only pipes you need to worry bout ore the big block ones unless you are drag racing otherwise big block pipes are a no no.

Just make a E Jato. do it right you'll be happier with it then the nitro, speed torque llonger run time (with lipo) plus its quieter. thats why my E Jato get more run time then my N Jato.

The pipe deflector has always been an ez one for me. But i never ran it on the jato's. The deflectors always got torn off

My friends charger takes like 10mins to charge and repair lipo's. And I think he was asking about nitro.... I bet with enough time and money I could make a nitro jato go as fast as your electric fastman. And my nitrp drag is already way faster than your electric...it ran 132 feet in 1.6s, take that .
