    Getting Married Saturday!!!

Well, as some of the old timers here may remember me, the time has come. Crystal and I are getting married this weekend. Rather than go for the traditional wedding, we chose to get married out at the lake. So, we will have the wedding, then it is into the swim suits for some water sking, tubbing, and just having fun. I am going to pick up a few racks of ribs and throw them on the BBQ. It's gunna be alot of fun.

    Congrats!
That is a good way to go. My wife and I went for the inexpensive route for the wedding so when we got home it along with the honeymoon were already paid off. And the total was much less than most of my friend's weddings.
We figured that the wedding is just a promise and celebration but we were going to invest our money into the marriage.

    Congrats.

My wife and I did a "weddingmoon" at a Sandals resort in Jamaica. Same reasons you stated. We wanted to save the money for a nice trip and with the all inclusive resort they offered a free wedding package if you stayed 7 nights. It was pretty awesome.

As I am 35 years into my second marriage I can say I hope you learned from the first one. I sure did. After that I said never again. Then I met my present wife and have never looked back. I wish you the best of luck and happiness for the rest of your lives.

Heck, she already has her own RCs. She runs with me all the time.

I have no intention of running this time.

Nitronaught, I wish you could be here too. You and Mud.

Oh ya, sorry guys, but the RCs are staying home this weekend.

A quote from my dad when I was 17...

"Boy, the key to having a happy marriage isn't finding a woman that has no issues, no such thing exists. Its finding a woman with issues you can tolerate."

the way i always saw it was as such:
dont marry somebody whit no issues, marry somebody with issues that balance you out! so if you have anger issues marry somebody who is really mellow. or vise versa
