    Medusa "relief" sale 15%!!! HOT!!

I need of a brusless motor? On medusa's web site you can get a 15% discount on most of the already nice priced brushless motors.

    v2 afterburners 36mm

    1/12 truggies & 1/10 trucks id go 36 x 50mm
    1/8 buggies I'd go 36 x 60mm
    Truggies and e-revo's id go 36 x 70mm (maybe 80mm)

    Enjoy!

i already have a 70mm(2300). works about the same as the castle 2200. it cost like $120 good prices. cant imagine what the 80 would do.

So, the 36x70-2300kv is about the same as Castles 2200kv?
would a lower KV be stronger?
How much stronger would a 36x80 - 2200 KV be?

    - search Medusa motors - website is Medusaproducts.com

Hmm... i've been thinking of getting one of the 36x50s for my slash... hmmm

but as Seattle Slew said, I'm interested in how they compare to the Castle motor as I've been saving up for that 2200 combo for my erevo (if the LHS ever gets one in stock!)

I'd have to say the Neu based motors are better than the medusa motors... but that doesn't mean the medusa motors are not great as they are. I put them #2 in motors I would buy only behind Neu based. Anything cheaper just isn't worth bothering w/ iMO after lots of trial and error ya the 36x50 is perfect for the 1/10's and Seattle Slew you may want the 80mm if you are out to be almost equal performance to a CC Neu. Not that the 70mm can't do the job as it is more than capable iMO.

I have the Medusa 3300kv in my Slash and have been running it on 3s and some 2s (SPC 8000mah) with monster, 23/86 gearing ... on the 3s, i've gps'd it @ 49.5 mph, motor temps hovering around 130 degrees after 60 minutes of hard running. The motor is great and they've lower prices since I bought mine, I'm really pleased with it.
