4x4 arms on the rear of a 2wd

Has anyone tried this, dimensionally they look close.

Ive heard others recommend it as an upgrade, so I am pretty sure they fit.

They do fit, you just have to look at driveshafts. Dog bones won't work, the 4x4 arms are wider.

it's alright son, I'll fix it

Thanks for the info, I haven't compared them closely yet only eyeballed it. I have used the carriers from a 4x4 on the 2wd so I know both ends of the 4x4 arm will physically fit on the 2wd but I wasn't sure about the geometry part of it.

So what makes the 4x4 arms on the back better? Just more robust / durable?

For me it's just what I have laying around. 2wd chassis with no rear arms and spare 4x4 arms.
