    Yeah,,,so????

Just joking. Nothing like putting upgrades on the slash. Let us know how good it is working after a couple of batteries have been put through it.

I have run in a skate park on sunday!!! It's AMAZING!! Lot's of power a looonnnng run time and a very loud noise from this 32p spur

In this pics i was using the 9t pinion, in the skate park i switch to 13t.

Now I really need make 3 things:

1 - remember to take my camera to make some videos

2 - cut a few milimeters off from my shell

3 - buy some tire with a better grip then the stock ones maybe anacondas?

awfull noise, but some locktide and 15 minutes later his slash ran just fine again.

botomline is that those ezrun stuff seems indestructible ..
Hi dutch, another dutch here :-)
I use a LRP 7,5 t with 9 wires (programmable, reacts like a brushed motor)
With low windings and high rpm, the topspeed is great, and still spinning starts, great offroad performance, but no wheelies. (Less torque then i.e. 12 t brushless)
I use 17t and 90t spur now, motor gets a bit warm, but not much over our own 37 celsius :-)

5,5t is not really a truck motor i.m.o. so how hot does yours get after a few topspeed runs offroad, can you touch it for 3 seconds?
Had to change any motor ballbearings yet?

same thing with 18T pinion + 86T spur, no heat problems
but with the 16T pinion + 90T spur my motor gets a bit hot , but within the limits.
Bit weird to me, because 16 and 90 is less resistance then 18 and 86..
    I have the 7,5t on 17 / 90 and is i guess about 45 celsius.
What brand of brushless motor are yours and friends?
I run 17/90 couse i dont need high speed, i need good torque + acceleration on our track ( mvb bergsenhoek )
Same here! but no lipo's, i use nimh 6 cell (yet)

my friend who has the 5,5T motor runs also 7,2 volts lipo and 17/90 gearing, he has also no heat issues.
Offroad with that 5,5t in a slash?

I read to fast, it is your friend with 5,5 t, wel no wonder it blew open, i thought it must have created lots of heat, but it does not you write.

My slash, in theory goes 59 kmpu, offroad little less then that.

not a bad looking ride at all. really seems to be quite a few people running 32p gears. which is good. give the truck better durability.

Hi Dutch people i have choose the 8.5t motor because i have read in another forum about heat issue with 5.5t. I think with 8.5 we have more options to adjust the ratio to the track/bash

1slash: i promisse!! Next bash i will make a video

69malibu: the 32p was a need, here in Brazil, we have a lot of tax to import anything!! To complete, we don't have any good LHS.
