    my rusty

    cant get my slipper clutch to work rite please help
    its a new nitro rustler

    whats the problem?
    did you take it apart or burn something up?
    i need a 3.3 for my cf rustler

    the pegs keep burning up to fast

    i would think its probably too loose then. i haven't had any trouble with mine with the nut a 1/4 turn out from fully tightened

    which part of the spur was burnt up
    did the center melt or were the teeth melted?
    i need a 3.3 for my cf rustler

    yeah it sounds like it is too loose just tighten it down as far as you can then back off 1/4th turn.

    Replace the locknut while you're at it. The nylon part of the nut gets loose over time.

    use all the pegs and keep it an 1/8th turn from tight

    use all 12 pegs and one 1\8 turn from tight

    i put 2 pegs in 1 hole, so they stick out real far. and put the pegs in every other hole, then tighten the slipper down a bunch.


    i havent had to change slipper pegs in over a year
    Don't worry, its a rental. It can take it...
