what rims/tires can you use on the mini e revo??

i was wondering what rims and tires can go on the truck?

can you use 1/10(2.2) scale wheels and tires if you change the hex to 14mm?

Changing from the stock flanged hex nuts to these will help:

    http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...ProdID=SWK2384

These unflanged 4mm nylock hex nuts are not as deep, so the nylon can catch on the threads. I had to make this change when I switched over to LOSI MLST hexes and wheels/tires...

Losi MLST, MLST2 rims and Tires work. You gotta get the 9mm Losi Hexes though. And the Losi Aluminum Hexes fit very tight in the wheels. But the fit well enough.

Yep. Bowtie. Have not actually run them yet. I know a lot of people at the local track use them so I figured I'd get those for when I go run out there.

On our track the bowties and holeshots work best... I've got them mounted up on the 2.2 Proline slash beadlocks so that I can switch them out depending on if we're running wet or dry on a particular day....

Vendetta ST wheels and tires from Duratrax. I love the way it handles and I love the traction it gets with the square "pin" tires on a baseball field! The tires are also wider than the stock Slash tires.

    Heres what im sporting hahah

Stock mini revo rims/tires fit inside these MT badlands/revolvers that i have for my slayer

I noticed someone had posted the 1/10th scale slash tires. Are they 12mm? Or are you running an adaptor of some sort? I have the stock rims from my Slayer just kicking around after swapping to the SC8 rims. And the Slayer stockers are 14mm iirc

Oops I didn't realized I posted in the E-Revo thread. But the rims and tires on my Slash will definitely work on an E-Revo if you want a lower stance.

I'd like to know from all those folks running the larger tires how the handling is and did you do any regeaging or shock adjustments to acommodate the larger tires. Also does it make any difference in the off roading ability?

Are those rims aluminum? Or just coated to look like real metal?

The wheels are molded, the beadlocks and center caps are aluminum.
