    Best tires for grass?

What tires work best on grass? I had Dirthwags, which where ok, but wore those out real quick running on pavement. I just moved and there is a nice park here with acres of open grass and paved walkways. Now im using Roadrage on the rear, which are great for pavement, but now I need new tires to run on grass. Thanks in advance
Its not fun unless you're trying to brake it...

My Proline Gladiators work great on grass. I don't know if they are the best but they do fine for me.

I love Moabs and Mashers. They grip in dirt, soft dirt, mud, grass, wet grass, and other surfaces.

Moabs and Mashers are really good tires and do get great traction on lots of surfaces. My issue with them is they are so big/tall they change the handling characteristics a lot. They raise the center of gravity and make the truck much more prone to rolling. They do give the truck more ground clearance which may be a good thing for running in grass though. They make the Rusty handle more like a Monster truck than a Stadium truck which could be good or bad depending on what you are looking for.

Yeah Geolandars are another good all around tire. I run them on the street and in my front yard. They will yank wheelies in the grass, I prefer Gladiators for off road use and Geolandars for on road use. Both tires cross over to other surfaces pretty well.

I have some Talons, and they work well on grass, but not as well as other tires, but I got them off eBay for about $7 each, so for that price they are great.

    Edit:

I would say they work about twice as well as stock tires on long grass (3"+), on short grass (1 1/2" and lower) they are a bit better that stock.

ditto on the gladiators. I don't have broad tire experience but my glads will put grass rooster tails when I hit the throttle.

The problem woth grass is that if it is too long you get hung up so the bigger the tire the better, talons or mashers would be my choice.

I have actually heard those are great in grass, but you would have to:

    1. Find some, since they are discontinued
    2. Be OK looking at such ugly tires on your truck

I 3rd the Glads. They hook up great on pretty much all surfaces except squishy mud, snow and ice.

I like the look of those for grass. I was trying to find something for my E-Revo for grass and was thinking the Mulchers looked like a good choice. Kind of similar but not quite as dramatic but with 4wd, probably would work pretty good.

I use Proline Dirt paws on my 4S full FLM Rustler. They are by far the best for grass, even if you lose some ground clearance.
