    Simple Question, hard answer....

What Battery/Engine Combo would offer the highest end of top speed for a slash that runs 75% of the time on pavement?

I am still worried that the vxl might be to "torquee" if thats a word....maybe I am wrong.

    Thoughts, Ideas?

Actually..thats uncorrect. For say, my friends has a 3s maxamps, and compared to the 3s spc another one of my buds had, despite the $40+ difference..the spc actually provided more power.
Also, my at my track, we did a lipo test (Of a ******* 2s and a maxamps 2s) with a SC10, and despite the ******* having less mah, it lasted 2 mins longer, and provided quite better lap times..while costing QUITE alot less.

Edit: Im about to buy some SPCs' to compare to my friends maxamps too

ive never had one so i shouldnt comment on them, but max amps seem very overpriced. and from what ive heard arent worth it. i think they are cool cuz they are waterproof. thats about it. i love my spc 2s2p 8000mah pack though. its awesome.

Spcs are a different story because Maxamps is overpriced. Also I find it hard to believe that a ******* with less mah outlasted a larger maxamps while also providing consistently better lap times.

    MaxAmps is just ridiculously priced.

******* and ***** are good value and perform decently but from what I have seen they fall short of the performance you get from an SPC pack. You pay more for the SPC but I feel you get higher performance.

^^1, the max amps where alittle older, as the *******s where pretty new..but still..all the people with maxamps where surprised that a 20$ lipo was placing the same or if not better lap times than a wallet breaking lipo.

Well that explains why the ******* was outperforming the Maxamps. The battery technology is updating frequently these days.
