    Revo wont move (Video)

I am stumped on this one guys. I have re calibrated my radio, connected the monster maxx to my pc to confirm esc settings were right. And nothing has changed.

Check out the video and post some suggestions please.

wow! weird sound i don't know if this could cause it, but looking at your esc compared to mine (stock ERBE) your white and black motor wires are switched to what mine are. perhaps that's the problem?

edit: i like how you took the time to edit some music and sound effects in

No it has been wired like that for sometime. It was running fine prior to this. Nothing was changed what so ever.

Brushless motors can not be hooked up wrong, or in any such a way that would hurt them...they can be wired in any way you want, and if the motor runs backwards, just swap any two wires to make it run forwards.

ok...it might be your motor bearing going/gone out...the magnets in the motor are super strong. If the bearing falls apart the magnet pulls the whole shaft towards all the wires on the inside of the motor(sorry I dont know the correct terminology). The only thing that keeps the shaft centered and away from the coiled up wires in the motor are the bearings.

my VXL Slash did the same thing when the bearing exploded...

I dunno, just something to check...

no it doesnt...like I said, my Slash did the same thing. It acted very similarly to the video. I looked at the motor shaft and it was sucked all the way to one side of the output hole. Cracked open the Velineon motor and saw that the bearing was pretty much gone..cleaned it and replaced the bearing and its as good as new.

To me it sounds like something is pinching, whether it's the bearing, or gear mesh I don't know. I would take the motor off the motor mount, unhook wires to motor and try to turn the shaft by hand, and check for unusual resistance or binding. If there is no unusual binding check gear mesh.....

Checked gear mesh, everything rolls bind free. Checked the motor bearing everything looks fine and spins freely.

definitely sounds sick. try to pinpoint where that noise is coming from. cant really hear in the video but it sounds like something is rubbing or stripped? maybe the output on the tranny? noticed the truck just kinda twitches when you hit the throttle..

wait....are the bullet connectors for the motor touching? coming out of the esc that goes into the motor, they look awfully close. check to see if they have little arc spots on them or if they are welded together

if everything spins freely, then it probly something electric...does the motor spin (with the throttle, not by hand) if you take the pinion off or seperate the mesh?

remove the spur gear and the pinion, then see if the motor spins freely
