    attn moderator: page scroll

The main 1/16 forum page is too wide and is causing page scroll horizontally. This is extermely irritating and has the same effect as when someone posts a very wide photo on a thread.

What is causing it is this page navigation:
    Page 1 of 55 1 2 3 4 5 6 7....

It goes all the way to 55 and the page stretches to fit it in. There are settings in vbulletin to limit this to 5 or 10 pages and show a 'more' link.

    Hmm
My 1/16 forum page is only slightly wider than displayed.. Then again Francois you probably know more than me about Vbulletin
I can 'set' the scale of the page by holding the Ctl key and scrolling the mouse wheel....Makes more fit, but at smaller fonts....
I just live with the right side scroll off I guess....

Go to the bottom of the page and change the settings to "today" or something like that and it will not be so wide.

This still needs to be fixed IMHO. It seems like there is a workaround but 90% of the users will never know this and will be forever be inconvenienced by this problem. And it will just get worse... everyday.

It is a very easy fix in the admin menus. Do you have access to the admin menus? Do you know someone who does?

Any answer to this mod, or are you just going to ignore it?

It is a very serious usability issue. It will just get worse every week as the board grows.

Changing the view to limit threads displayed only works for one session. Every time, I revisit the site, it goes back to the dreaded ultra-wide page.

Ha, I did. It works for me now.

But the vast majority of the board users will never know this and will always have a crappy user experience. Unregistered users will have no chance for a fix.

It is one simple change in the Admin to fix this for EVERYONE. Doesn't that make sense?? I'd at least like a response since this is something really helpful that the mod can address.
