Well first of all i would like to say this was nunsters! idea and it was a good one!!
As you know the slash is a big hit, and is inspiring people to make tracks.
So here you can post Tracks that you have built for your slash.
Instead of looking all over the place to find out who is doing what or people making new tracks or people that needs ideas how to build their slash track.
And I should also add that this thread is only for homemade tracks that you or your friends have made.
Rules
I expect everyone here to follow the rules below, if not i will tell a mod and their post will be deleted.
* This thread is for slash tracks and question only. (you can ask questions about tracks but no talking about non track stuff)
* Anything off topic will be deleted.

This thread is somewhat different from the typical stickies. So I'll see how it goes from here, and later on decide if it will continued to be stickied.
Carry on, and follow the rules.

Well say good bye to at least 70% of my old oval track. Time to turn it into a slash track. The wood walls got destroyed by last winters rains. The only part that will survive looks like is this banked turn closest to the camera. Now I need to remember to take pics. I am hopeing to get the chain saw out today and the far wall will be turned into fire wood.

I was asked to link my track here so here it is. I'm going to link to the thread because its one of the top 4 or 5 threads in the Slash section, but if you want to know anything about it feel free to post here or there.

Well I guess I am changing the track now. The Mythbusters came in and just blew it away. Not really. But did look like today.
Cirkus I love that last pic. "Beep Beep come on get that little thing out of the way. We want to go all ready." That is what poped into my head when I seen it. That would be a good pic to put some type of cartoon caption on. or might be just me trying to be silly again

Added a 100 foot straightaway.. the track is now 50 x 100 feet
To the right and all the way back to where you can make out two people
In the forefront, the dark patch to the right is the new section of straight, again, the pics just dont pick up the details or do the track any justice!

Any questions just ask!!
The nice thing about Pb's track is that once they get tired of it. Pull up a couple of steaks and move the pipe around and a whole new track. For me and others we got to get a shovel wheel barrow and what ever else that is needed to move the heavy dirt around. And for some of us icehot cream.=)

Rc-crazy you got a SSC track. supure slash course. Remember I like being silly. But I see two s's and a c when I look at that pic. Is that track on a beach or river front, just wondering because it looks sandy.

I actually have a revo, but here is my track, I hope it's ok to post.
So far all we have done is the lanes laid out, jumps have been roughed in, and all the banking has been done.
We have a load of good red clay out there, and about 200 feet so far of corrugated pipe, went and bought some 10" nails tonight too. We will have a good bit more done this weekend, so i'll be sure to take some pics and get it updated. Here is the link to the thread in the revo forums..

No backyard yet at our new house so I made this. I'm going to add some rough terrain when it cools down here. Mostly flat track for now though.

These tracks are looking awsome. Remember post updates. I am in the process of changing both of my tracks at the moment. Got tired of destroying my slash off of the big jump so I finaly got the shuvel out. I think it will be better but time will tell. I am just hoping I will have enough dirt now and don't have to hall anymore in. But probably will.

my track is located at the front of my 5 acre block, located in the swan valley, in Perth, Western Australia.

BTW the big bit of carpet in some of the photos is to kill the grass under it...

That's an EZrun 8.5T (4000kv) combo. With the Gladiator tyres it hooks up very well, but has enough power to kick the back end round corners still...Originally Posted by slasher143

Yes, we run em on a paved track!!! Get em setup right and they hook all the way around, turn in to tight and you start doing double back flips with a 1.5 twist.... run about 9 second laps... a 5200mah lip runs about 35 minutes ( motors dont get hot at all on this track ) Located in Pittston Maine.
Just an FYI, this is my father in laws track that is in his back yard... has guys come up and race other cars on it ( 1/4 scales, Sliders, pan cars ) but so far mostly slashes cause it's so cheap to get people ( like myself ) involved.... Tires last about 1,000 laps before they go bald ( mostly right rear ) change shock oil in right front to 60 wt, put some spacers in, and run it!!
I guess you coudl say it is homemade, i've helped him many hours with the track, website, and what not. Spent 12 hrs digging post holes for our driver stand... 8 ft off the ground over pit row.

Some people put basketball or tenis courts up. Why? When they can have a nice oval track like that. WOW

Krazy fast! 6 second laps for the 1/4 scale cars... he picked up a timing system to put on it, hopefully that will be setup before snow fall!!! But this is what we do every sunday... Drink beers, race cars, shoot the sh!t... it's a good time!
Update, for the paved oval there is now a 8ft tall ( bottom of your foot is 8 ft off the round ) 32 ft long 8ft deep drivers stand!. Also cut grooves in the pavement over the start/finish line to put the timing system in... Ran some laps the other day with a transponder and got some times in to test the system. Now he's working on getting the power company down there to run power.
