I'm playing with a similar step-up. HPI Phaltlines and my 3s packs are on order. I also have 20t and 22t pinions. I will be venting my new body which I hope to paint this week. It will be extremely interesting to see what 20/54 on 6s will produce, which is my now "default" bashing gearing running at 4s. Just keep a close eye on your motor/ESC/battery temps.

Re-packing the diffs with 10K oil in the REAR and 50k in the FRONT (I did mine wrong the first time around) will greatly improve handling. Also a high-tq single servo steering setup really improves steering control at speeds.

Stock extra parts. Crashing at those speeds really can jack up your truck.

... but what do I know, I'm just learning as I go.

I run 19 54 on 4s. It gets me somewhere around 40mph... Try a higher count pinion. Do not go crazy on your speeds.

BTW: I have an ERBE. Had one since last fall.

People here like Over_revO are not at all keeping secrets. I'd suggest reading this thread:

I ran 22/54 really hard last week on some high amp 4s cells. I was pushing 150s on my motor temps. Suggestions from people here were to vent the body. I have no idea how temps on 6s will be with that gearing though I plan to start at 20/54, monitor temps and go from there.

Theres an entire thread dedicated to E-revo speed runs, ALL and EVERYTHING you need to hit 80+ mph is right there.

You can see our setup described pretty well.

I dont see why you are stating im hiding secrets.
Theres minor part of the setup i keep for me, but it may just help pick a few mph.

80+mph is easy with a good place to run, with lots of room using the setup shown in the challenge thread.

It will really depend in what you are looking for, what kind of speed are you looking for?

Do you plan to run your revo at that speed for parking lot bashing?
or a top speed run and let it cool down?

In the futur try to search a bit more, especially if you are about to say something about someone that is not right...
