    **NEW** CC Blower

Hey guys here's some of the lastest from Castle for our motors. I'm one who keeps things in check, but won't turn down an option to reduce temps all that much more

I personally have heard of no problems that were not user error.

I have a 5V 4x4x2 cm fan on it plaugged into the receiver, lighter and quicker.

Which is the weight of that Castle cooling system ? I think that it adds to much weight to the already heavy erevo....

I don't think it's needed, but it is pretty cool, and great for those people who just have to have all of the latest accessories.

I don't believe that little fan weighs hardly anything.

I'll be getting one for my ERBE...

OP, thanks for the heads up and the link..

This is what I see happening...

Since people are going to over-gear their trucks for more speed because the fan is keeping their motor cool, the fan is going to fail, which is common with CC fans, and the motor is going to roast!

lol, yep you're probably right about people over-gearing, it's a good thing i could care less how others treat their rc's, i just like the mods and other things they do to them

That looks pretty cool, and it will cheap to boot! I might have to get one of those even though it is not "needed".

Yeah, for $12.99, it might not be a bad thing for hot days. Of course, still gear correctly too, but it would help I am sure.

Their fan provider has upgraded the fans so hopefully this one will last.

That's nice, but nothing beats a nice 1 1/4" hole drilled in the windshield and I have yet to have anything that resembles heat in my truck. Round holes won't crack.

Like I said, for those of you who are going to get this thing, please don't gear up, because if you do and the fan fails, you will have problems. I am not saying not to get it, I am just saying be careful if you do get it.

The best comment I have heard about the blower is this: (Quoting simplechamp)

There's a big difference between using a fan to make a hot, overgeared setup barely usable, and using a fan to keep a cool, properly geared setup even cooler.
