    Changing motors

    Whats the higheest turn of motor i can put in my slash without doing any damage? (brushed)

    if having the stock esc if i'm correct its

    15-turns* (540 Size)
    12-turns* (550 Size)

    Im not trying to sound rash, but I believe the manual clearly tells you.

    Its very very hard to gear a 15turn engine correctly in the slash. If staying with brushed, I would suggest either staying with the Titan, or getting a 19-21turn motor. And then be very conservitive on gearing. I have a 19t geared 16/90 and it still gets pretty hot. If you are lucky enough to get a "good" titan motor, I would say it seems to have just about all around performance for a brushed motor. They are cheap too.

    i run an old kyosho 21t in mine and it's plenty fast and the heat is managable with 18/86 gearing.
    when that burns up i am going to put a trinity komodo dragon 19T pro in it.
    Slash, Not Stock Anymore...
