I already have a decked out slash (2x4 version):
-Big bore shocks
-Gladiator tires/revolver wheels
-Waterproof VXL system
-2.4GHz radio
-Lipos
Will it be possible to just buy th chassis, transmission, etc and upgrade mine to a 4x4 slash?
Thanks,

E-Revo Brushless Edition | Slash w/ Waterproof VXL
it has alot of diff parts. its soooo different.
if u buy a roller (check ebay when they com out) u can put that stuff on.
rtr slash 4x4
2s lipo
some other rc stuff
all you will have left of your slash is the shocks, radio, VXL, and batteries. It would be easier and much cheaper to wait a little while, then buy a roller new on ebay.
HB Ve8 w/ tekin (AWESOME)
E-Slayer w/MMM
SC10
roller fer me. bandit steet buggy, slash offroad. IMO thats the best setup
def roller for me, ive spent to much on my 2x4 slash unless the 4x4 will be priced decent
slash > sold
slayer > sold
bn revo plat
Yeah, a conversion just wouldn't work. Here's what you would keep from Slash 2WD:
Body (assuming you don't care about the truck looking like a Slash 4X4)
Shocks (but not springs--Slash 4X4 springs are much stiffer)
Rear wheels and tires
Battery strap
Body clips and some screws
Everything else would be new. So, no savings there.
Glad to hear from a professional, PeterV on this!
