    New body on old Slash?

Will this new body fit on the old Slash?

Are the mounting holes at the same distance?

I read that the 4x4 slash accepts 2wd slash bodies, so I dont see why it wouldnt work the other way.

The bodies are totally interchangeable, right down to the body post locations. If you just painted a sweet Pro-Line body for your 2WD Slash, you can drop it right onto your Slash 4X4. Or, if you want to put the new Slash 4X4 shell onto your Slash 2WD, just drop it onto the posts. How cool is that?

It would've been cooler if you had made the body post height-adjustable like the other guy :P

See! Now this is taking care of your customers, AND it doesn't force aftermarket companies to redo production lines for a new truck. Thank you Traxxas for making a 4WD Slash that allows us to use SOME of the existing aftermarket parts we mave invested in. I can't wait for this baby to get on the shelves.

Its not exactly rocket science to raise the stock posts, at least on the 2wd slash.

Are the wheelbase and track width the same as the 2wd Slash? I like the 4wd slash body, it's much better designed..while still preserving the original Slash distinctive look. I'm thinking of swapping my old slash body to this one once it's available on the market.
Myth busted: Blitz is not faster on the track.
