    2.4 radio sync?

Will I be able to sync up the traxxas radio to my controler? I got my doubts. That would save us so much money and hassle.

are you asking if you can use the trx 2.4 reciever with other radio systems(futaba, Airtronics, Ko)? if so, that's exactly what i was wondering.....

    any one know?
    That was easy

    Traxxas - Futaba - Losi - Tekin

The Traxxas system doesn't work with other brands. Almost every company using their own math for the system. This controls how far and how fast it skips frequencies.

Yeah, that's not gonna happen, as majestic said, each brand has their own proprietary binding method so nobody syncs to anyone else by accident, and so you have to buy their receivers.

I actually tried binding the traxxas system to a Futaba 3PM for a customer of mine and no it didnt work.
There was a rumor that the traxxas system would bind with Futaba a while back but I can attest to the fact that it will not.

Futaba has there new sport 2.4 FHSS (frequency hopping spread spectrum)system coming out soon and i will try to bind it to the traxxas system for the heck of it. I doubt it will work but its worth a try.

FHSS(and DSS) is Airtronics, Futaba uses the FASST system. Are you talking about the new MX Sport from Airtronics, I think it'll be the new DX2, only $100 and way better than it.
