I was able to find a street near my neighborhood to try out some speed runs and practice controlling it in a straight line. I used a stock Slash 4x4 with 13 tooth pinion powered by a Venom 3S 5000 Mah Lipo. I wasn't able to follow the car as it went by, so I used a tripod and tried to get the best angle. I used a Nikon P6000 point and shoot camera in video mode, so the resolution was only 640x480. You should right click on the links below and "Save Target As" (ie, to your desktop). The footage is unedited with the exception of the title. The first Video was taken from the curb-side with the fastest passes coming on the way back. The second Video was taken with the tripod placed in the middle of the street. You can really get a sense of how fast the car can get out of view. I was able to clock it with a GPS at just over 40 MPH and that's with a 13 tooth pinion!! If it doesn't rain tomorrow, I'm going to see if I can find some rarely used dirt streets and have some fun and hopefully get some footage.

Hello,

I am new to this forum, and I just want to share some videos of my Slash 4x4.

This video is my first time running the car on a track, used the initial set-up recommended by Tim Roberts. The track is at Sonic Boom in the Philippines. Raced 1/8 buggies the whole day, the only problem I had was the shoulder screw on the shock mount came off once. Here's the video:
