    1/8 buggy wheels/tires

    who runs 1/8 buggy wheels and tires, and whats your opinion of them?

    I use them and the handling is so much better than stock. The tires bite more. If you are looking to have the slash get sideways, don't use 1/8 wheel/tire combo. It gets straight WAY faster with them.

    i use them but my experience is the opposite of monkeys..... i like them in high speed turns because they dont bite as hard and are less prone to traction roll. they do skid out alot better for drifty fun. brakes are not as great with them tho.


    maybe its all in what kind you get.. i use the mohawks but iv read that the big blocks are alot more grippy.

    yeah i ordered a set of big blocks, cant beat the price

    the only part that sucks is the shipping is like 65% of the cost of the tires

    I am about to make the switch and i know it will be a good move. Cause for awhile i used 17mm adaptors on my rustler with buggy wheels to mess around and it handled better and never really traction rolled all that much. I say go for it just make sure you buy a good adaptor.
