I really like the look of it although I am not that interested in turning my Slash into a monster truck. The race truck and Baja bodies are more my style. I can see this being very popular however with the amount of "monster" threads concerning the Slash. It does look good!

i think JC was trying to go for a 'street' look. i could understand that. But yeah i dunno, i think that rear bumper ruins it for sure, but im not sure how i feel about the front bumper. Maybe if the bar bit of the front bumper was cut off, it may look a little more appealing. Just looked & the front bodyposts are extended, not going to last long on a basher IMO. I like how Jconcepts thinks outside the box...

doubt they hold on 3s though.

If you were going to try 3S, I would probably glue them in addition to the bead locks.

I have 2.2 epics with switch tires and have no problems with 3s. No glue.

Its all with how you put them on.

i mite even pick up those rims, they aint half bad...

Unfortunately r/c trucks have a tremendous amount of kickup and that means the tires move back a lot when the suspension is compressed. This is why you see really stretched fenders on most r/c truck bodies (except scalers). Also the scale travel and wheel size is absured compared to a real truck, so things get a little out of wack so there is no rubbing.

I hate to be mean about it...but the body makes it look like it comes from radio-shack....not to mention the f150 raptor well....its not monster truck...its a desert truck. kinda lame IMO good job on trying though also rear bumper....not that good looking.

Good job....IF they would of made the body like the rest of the SCT bodies so it would cover the wheel wells. That woulda sold it for me and they would of sold tons of them. But I'll just spend my money on a new 4x4 slash body.
    What shall I put here?

Now that is what I may do to my Slash 4x4 when I get it. I was wanting to build a 4x4 'pede and this will work.
