I know that aluminum bends easily if its cheap. I'v e heard good things about RPM over stock ones and spring steel skid plates from rc solutions

You can cross plastic out is all I know. something else I know is look for aluminum skid plates on ebay. Stay away from integy though. I run aluminum.

If you get aluminum on ebay don't get rc raven ones they are pieces of crap. I've had to bend the front one back in place about 20 times in a vice.

From experience, I suggest that you stick with the stock skid plates and put the RPM ones that go over that. I tried the titanium ones and accidentally drove into a curb; it was hard to bend it back into its normal position so I reverted back to stock. I also landed on the rear skid without noticing it and that bent the rear bumper in and made it hard for the body to fit on properly.

Titanium is the best in my opinion.
Aluminum will bend easy and then when bent back a few times it will break.
The rpm skid/wear plates work ok, but they kind of act like little shovels in the front when you nose into the dirt.
If I couldnt find any titanium ones I would next try the spring steel ones and see how they work?
