    recommend me some upgrades..pls :)

Hi guys. My pro line dirt hawgs in bead locs came in today. I put it on and went for a test drive. Man, these wheels are awesome! anyways, thinking of upgrading some more parts. kinda getting hooked into it. What do you guys think I should upgrade next? All my suspension arms are broken so I've ordered a set of HR alum arms from HKS hobby.

Right now I'm running on 2s and 3s lipos on parallel. I have an external sport BEC installed thanks to crusey. I'll be using the merv all rounder, meaning dirt, grass and on road.

any suggestions guys? thanks in advance

here is a pic of the merv

Alu arms don't take hits (no flex at all) if you clip anything it will either bend an arm or rip your bulks apart or did you mean axle carriers ? they are good as alu

I see. Its the A-arms. I guess I should have researched more before ordering it. Thanks kilo. Time to cancel the order. Might get the RPM's instead.

    fixed

the rpm arms reduce slop, so handling will improve noticeably. as well as this they are much beefier than the stock arms and rpm will replace them for life if they break under normal usage.

i'd also invest in hot racing's axle carriers, they are much stronger, and hold the pivot balls far more securely, so the carriers don't move about with the wheel.

and some metal tie and push rods, to reduce slop to pretty much nill.

i did the tie and push rods and axle carriers and now the car tracks far straighter than it ever did with the stock parts after a good few months of use.
... oh, and sorry about your wallet

hey guys thanks for the recommendations. Just added some stuff on the shopping cart. nearly full. hehehe. i just noticed that the toyz are still out of the HR axle carriers. Man, its been out of stock for ages. I really wanna get everything from The toyz so it'll save me from shipping.

I see that they've got GPM alum axle carriers. are they just as good as the HR ones? if they are, i'll just get those. if not then, I'll just have to wait till they have them again. Or are there any other online hobby shops that sell them?

    cheers guys.

@ crusey: aww, i've already ordered them.
@ wiggy: isn't the push rod included in the set? there are 8 sticks inlcuded. 4 short and 4 long ones.

@ kilo: i see but it said they will be still sending and processing orders except email inquiries.
