Just stumbled on a decent deal for another project I have been wanting to try.
Heres where it begins.
Pile of parts.
Started taking inventory.
About an hour later
And here it is compared to SuperPede.
OK this is just where it begins, I just wanted to put it together as an inventory build.
OK your thinking ''Hey dude this the E-Maxx section''
Next post will show why its here![]()

Heres mocking it up
Chassis plate drawn out.
Starting to come together, motor, battery and servo tray just in place for mock up for tonight.
Ground clearance is still pretty impressive.
Aluminum parts will be gone and replaced with lexan even motor mounts will be lexan.
Servo tray will be replaced also with lexan and will be running twin servos.
Hope to get more done tomorrow.

Super quick mock up ignore the bit holder, its there to balance the rear suspension on the chassis, and the turnbuckle links will be over the top CD plate not under. This is highly accurate though this is it.
And more pics will come, I have to get counter sink bits and get to counter sinking! I haven't decided about the shocks either... LOL I now have 8 Power Strokes and 8 Super shocks. I've got stock bulkheads and towers on the front just sitting there they will not be installed. The chassis is a nitro hybrid chassis made for the T-Maxx made out of titanium by HCR. And all the turnbuckles on the truck(6 in all) will be TRX Red Tubes with Dubro Monster-Link rod ends. WB is 15-1/2 inches.
This is a post from my build thread. I'm almost done now. I've just got to mount the servo and batts. I don't mean to steal your thunder, you've done a good job I just thought you could use some of my ideas.

Wow Zues that looks BA!
It might break.... then again it broke....
Its just begun, the lower plate is going to be the easy part.
I got it all figured out in my head just need to git er done lol
This truck will be running twin systems two Mamba Max esc's and two Feigao 9L motors, and most likely two HiTech 645 servos
Should scoot pretty good![]()

thinking of doing something like this as well. I designed up a chassis on AutoCAD and plan to have it cut out with either a water jet or laser cutter out of 7/64" aluminum. Plan is to also use a ofna center diff with a lx-1e cnc brushless motor mount and ofna settering setup. Its basically going to be a mix of traxxas and OFNA 1/8th scale buggy parts.
OK I got one motor mounts in place and figured I'd just give it a try to see what it would do.
Was I shocked, with just the one feigao motor it actually spun tire in my cellar AAAAAHHHHHH
I knew thes little 9L's had a little spunk but didn't expect just one of them to break traction on these huge tires :yahoo
This thing is going to be insane on two of them.
Its just held in with two screws in the bottom at this time but will be much more secure when I make the top plate.
More to come keep watching

OK tonights last update.
Both motors mounted in place nice and secure.
Still need to make upper braceing to stiffen everything up but I can tell you now, I hooked things up and gave the throttle a little blip and its going to be a real powerfull truck.
Figure each motor is putting out .65hp ROFL so that gives this truck 1.30 HP
Trying not to rush it but can't wait to get it done so I can give it a test run.
I think its going to be one fun rig to run.
On to the pics:

Dude that looks awesome and that truck is going to be a beast. This is what the hobby is all about creating and giving new ideas.

Fam. last words-Hey yall watch this!
Thanks I hope to find some time today to do a little more on it.Originally Posted by J-DUB

I just have always liked the build and modding aspect of RC.
If this works out cool, if not oh well back to the drawing board
Both systems are borrowed from some of my other rigs so it will depend weather I like it or not how long it gets to stay running![]()

You are trying to set this up for race right?
If so i would get different tires
I use the revo response tiresa and they are very nice!
HV-MAXX,MM RUSTY,MERV,BAJA SS, F104,B4,MINI T
Well I'll mostly bash it but would like to put it on the track from time to time.
I'll probably get 17mm hex adaptors so I can run truggy tires/rims I have 2 full sets of 17mm rims/tires already.
Trying to not spend any money if I can other than on a Lipo to match my ***** 5000mah 2s 30c Hardcase

Whats the weight of the lexan Chassis compaired to the T-Maxx chassis?
MMM/FLM 3905 E-Maxx
Villan EX
Not really sure I didn't weigh it but it feels lighter than my E-Maxx did.
Kinda hard to tell with these super large tires on it that will be going away in time.

And a not so good video, not used to the radio mount yet lol

just wondering was that an extened chassis or the shorter one origanally ?
fun first saftey second
It was a T-max 2.5 chassis when I started it.
Faster Than Gum Looses Flavor
so thats shorter then then newer emaxx right ?
fun first saftey second
I guess if the newer e-maxx is longer than a 2.5 T-Maxx I guess it is.
Its about 1/4 inch longer than what it was as t-maxx
Faster Than Gum Looses Flavor
Its a titanium HCR Mutant Maxx without top plate converted to brushless extended about 1 inch to a 15-1/2inch wheelbase. Just a couple of mm longer than a Losi 8T 2.0. The top plate is not needed as I mounted the servo flat to the chassis and use red TRX 7075 T6 billet Tubes with Dubro Monsterball links to give the chassis rigidity. The chassis also has been modified to have alittle more kickup than stock. The Mutant doesn't come with any kick up.
I've seen your videos. Good job. I was alittle surprised it worked. LOL JK kinda

Today bored with my shop being all neat and some what tidy, well getting there anyway lol.
I've decided to put on a few parts on that it needed.
New front drive cup, the old one I drilled out too big so it didn't fit rite, and it only used a grub screw to hold it on.
I drilled this one out the rite size nice fitment, and it used the pin type screw which passes all the way through like a maxx cup should be.
Replaced the Traxxas 20055 steering servo with a HiTech 645mg servo, may go with twin servos not sure yet lol
Thought some of you might like to see a pic of the drive train without the bottom plate blocking everything.
And the main reason I took it apart was because I'm tires of the clear bottom plate lol
Got it all liquid masked up and am going to paint something on it.
Don't ask me what I'm painting on it, I haven't figured it out yet.
Need something that will go with any body I want to put on it so Grave Robber theme is out lol
Got any ideas of an image I should put on it.
Remember it will be the bottom of the truck![]()
