    Body rubbing with expansion kit

Installed a battery expansion kit and not only did I have to remove my esc fan, the wires are still rubbing on the body.

What do you guys do about this?

    Thanks.

I would re-route the wires a little bit and cut a hole in the body for the ESC fan.

+1 on the hole in the body. The last thing you want to do with a Pede is raise the body up. If I where you i'd lower the body and cut the hole.

That's what I did as well until I got the extended chassis.

I would love for someone to build a rollbar type setup that bolts to teh rear shock tower and goes out over the ESC/RX and down to the chassis. It coudl bolt into the holes on the shock tower where the wing mount goes for a Bandit, and it could bolt into those 2 extra mount holes along the side of the battery tray, just behind the antenna mount. Or, it could bolt to where the rear skidplate bolt goes through and go all the way with a nut on top. Then I wouldent feel like my ESC is going to get crushed every time I land lid first.

Just a thought... didnt mean to jack your thread-ski
