Why not just get another Traxxas 2.4ghz link radio and receiver or just the receiver. You can pick up a Traxxas radio and receiver from E-Bay for about $59. That's what I did for my Slash 4X4 PE and now I'll be looking for only the Traxxas Link Receiver to avoid having so many radios. Just a thought.

Yes but they are a lot more cheaper on E-Bay and they are brand new. My came in the box unused. The other locations will charge you retail. Just trying to save you a few $$.

The Traxxas Link H.O. radios are actually quite good. I really prefer them over the Airtronics MX-3FG and Losi 2.4 radios I was running....fewer batteries required (than the Airtronics), less weight, less "latency" (if that is the correct term), and not alot of features I don't need. I am now running 3 Link radios (on competing brand cars), and won't run anything else. When I get my ERBE, you can bet I'll run the Link radio on that as well.

The Futaba 2PL is excellent for it's low price. I use one of those and the 3PM-X and love them both. Range is very, very far as well.
