    Backslash

Can I ask you guys what is the point of making your slash a backslash?

What do you have to do to make the conversion?

    What does Backslash mean?

    Thank you for your help

So what does the word "back" refer to..?

I've known about it for a long time..but it's always been hard for me to see what the points is. Taking a high CG 2wd chassis of the Slash, slap some buggy wheels, body and wing..simply won't turn it into a buggy, well maybe looks like one..but it'll still be a slash. I'd like to keep the loose handling characteristics and scale looking (and handling) of the short course RC class, which in itself presents a HUGE fun factor and driving challenges that brought me into this hobby in the first place. The backslash just isn't my thing. My 0.02

From what I have read....on a keyboard you have a slash and a backslash. So, somebody dubbed the buggy slash a backslash

I know this is a old thread, but just wanted to say I turned my 2wd into a backslash for two reasons. A: like the looks of buggys vs stadium and the body fitting the LCG chassis keeps the dirt out, literally nothing gets in! B: to save money. Slash body=$45 at LHS, tires $35 A pair. 1/8th buggy? $22 for a set of 4 tires and $18 for a body.....
