    Tire recommendations - Bandit

I have a Bandit xl-5 that is in need of new tires. I did take the brushless/ESC out of my Slash 4x4 when I upgraded it, and installed it in the Bandit.

I'm looking for a good tire or wheel/tire combo to replace at least the rear tires. We run mostly on pavement, but as it warms up will be running more on dirt.

    Anyone have any recommendations?

Any links? Will the HPI rims fit the slash xl-5 or do I need to do anything to convert it so they will?

I'll send the links tomorrow. They should fit the slash but I haven't tried.

The rims fit the slash perfect but the buggy hawg tires are too short for it to look right.

Here's the Wheel. You'll need to open up the hole just slightly. It's too small for the large traxxas axles.

    Here's the tires.

You'll also need these as the wheels use Hexes.

Here they are on the car. If you de-chrome the stock front wheels you would hardly notice the different wheels.

BTW - On a VXL these tires last about 20 packs on 3S so they should last a fairly long time on an XL5
