Been thinking of getting a emaxx againg and doing a vtwin setup but using. 2 castle SCT Sidewinder. I can imagine with a 4 pole 3900kv you should have cooler temps greater torque and speed.

Yup, also if memory serves, 7L Feigaos were verry good, but you have to find their current equivalant, and they have pourer quality.

running the feigaos was with the old mamba max's the ones you could put some caps on and run 4s. I dont think those sidewinders would work well, they seem to only do well with smaller 2 pole motors, even the castle 1410 4 pole gets that thing too hot. Just my opinion but id throw in 2 MM pros or 2 higher amp chinese ones
2 duratrax setup running on 2s each should be fine i

I've thought about putting in better motors but I dont run the truck a ton anymore and they heat up on 3s not 2s really. I dont know if anybody forgot but the V twin is for a 6s capable waterproof brushless system other wise its slower and hotter than any other single motor/esc system of the right size, just sayin.......

I ran the truck the other day on 6s because two of my three 2s lipos were on their way out. So I have some carnage pics, well not too bad but a 6s fwd doesnt work well
Thats whats left of a the bearing on the inside of the diff case that the pinion gear rides on
So my ring gears a little chewed up
And the new tires I got are great, they are a no name brand on ebay, when you get going fast enough they balloon a ton, but they dont blow up and are balanced very good, and great traction, very wide too

Nice, glad to see the twin-v still kickin. This is one of my favorite build threads, I was going to do this but now Hobbywing is waterproof.
Does anyone know how good that is and what hobbywings warrenty is?

I have a hobbywing 120 amp combo in my slash 4x4, I've hosed the truck off and its fine, I did this with the ESC off though
