Question Diff oil for racing a tight track

I am setting my 3905 up for racing......I have a brushless system and added a center diff. The package said the diff came with 200k oil

But when I opened it it has a black grease.... no oil??????

Any recommendations on oil combination for front rear and center diff's?....it is a tight outdoor track.

I was thinking 150k center and 75k front and rear to start out...mainly because thats what I have around.

I am woundering the same thing. Can diff oil be used in the e-maxx diffs? Are they a closed system so that diff oil can be added?

If it is done right it doesn’t leak. I have re-built mine a couple of times each. In the instructions for rebuilding the Emaxx differential they call for using Traxxas Differential Lube. Here is a quote from their web site.

    Diff Lube
Traxxas performance diff lubes make it easy to increase or decrease the limited slip action of the Revo gear differential. Depending on the track conditions, altering the limited slip capability can enhance turning performance for faster exit speeds. Each diff lube weight can be purchased separately as well. Revo is equipped out of the box with 30K W differential oil.

    Part #5136X Differential oil kit (1 each: 10K, 30K, 50K weights)
    Suggested retail price $21.00

Part #5135 Oil, differential (10K weight)
    Suggested retail price $7.50

    Part # 5136 Oil, differential (30K weight)
    Suggested retail price $7.50

Part #5137 Oil, differential (50K weight)
    Suggested retail price $7.50

Part #5130 Oil, differential (100K Weight)
    Suggested retail price $8.00

Part #5039 Oil, differential (500K Weight)
    Suggested retail price $8.00
Here is a copy of the re-build instructions.
