    why that servo

just curious why traxxas would use the 2056 servo instead of the 2075... the 2056 is sooo slow of a servo and the 2075 is such a better sevo. makes no sense

The 2056 should be more than powerful enough to steer a 36" boat!

Exactly. All it has to do is turn a rudder, if you need more than that your doing somthing wrong. Lol.

Even tho when I rebuilt my villain I used the 2075, but that's cause I got a great deal on one, but that was way overkill.

To keep costs down and to be able to sell the 2075 as an upgrade. Same reason why they put bushings in it instead of bearings. Look at the accessories listed for it.

Rob your def right that it's to keep costs down. I'm not sure why you'd need any more speed or power for it anyways, but I guess if you wanted to use the 2075 as an upgrade it's very possible.

And SRT that's a good point, not everyone can or will be able to control it as is, so making it respond quicker isn't going to help, Lol.
