For all you boaters out there (real, NOT r/c boats)

I love boats, real boats (and rc too) I love being on the water and water sports. Who is a boater and what do you have? I grew up with a Sea Ray...currently boatless, but in the market for something along the lines of a Sea Ray, Four winns, Chaparral, Regal, etc.....possibly a tournament ski boat.

What you all got? Just curious...throw in some pics if you have some.

I can post photos of any of the others if someone wants to see them, but there is not much to see with the others.

Used to have a 2001 Polaris SLX that I took my now wife on our first date with up and down the river. I loved that thing, so smooth and fast. But needed the money, didn't have a hitch anymore and Polaris no longer makes PWC's and parts were starting to be hard to come by.
At the lake lot (mother-in-law's) there is an old 16' fishing boat w/25 Johnson, 16' fishing boat w/7.5 Johnson and a 20' pontoon w/35 Johnson. Plus her fathers 1960's vintage "speed boat" that we'll use for water skiing and such. Cannot right now, waiting for a coil for the 65hp engine. Nothing too special but I would like to get a PWC again sometime.

I have a pontoon at my cabin and a 18' Lund that I keep at my friends cabin on Lake Mille Lacs. I'm also in the process of fulling restoring a 1979 Tahiti jet boat, going all out with new paint and a custom interior. It had a Chevy 396 in it but that's getting rebuilt this winter for my 67' Camaro and the 502 Ram Jet in my 34' Ford is going in the boat because I'm giving the Ford to my wife and she doesn't need big block power.

I am jealous of the boats...I recently sold my Kawasaki 440 stand up jet ski. it had the typical bolt ons (impeller, choke delete, etc..) stand ups are absolutely the most fun of the personal watercraft!

My dad, sisters and I are rebuilding a 1960's cutter boat, it has 2 dual motor with a death defying full horsepower... yeah thats right... lol. The boat isnt meant for speed or anything of that nature. We also got as 25 horse fishing boat down at my cousins house by lake Geneva.

Weve been through many over the years but currently have 205hp 18 foot Chaparral, a new Seadoo RXPX (255hp) and a newer Kawasaki Jetski 800 twin standup. Also, for some reason we keep the old 12foot tinner with a new merc 9.9 4 stroke that is simply crap. Evinrude just released a 9.9 Etec... so thats in the future for the aluminum boat.
