    Wheels and Tires

Does anyone know of a wheel that will fit IMEX CLAW DAWGS JUMBO MAXXX TIRES other than SAYVILLE JUMBO MAXX Wheels?
    The Sayville is a 14mm hex, I need a 17mm hex.
While we are on the subject how about a wheel tire combo that is simular? I'm looking for a dirt tire that is around 4.5" wide and >6" in height.

No there sin't any other wheels besides the 2 imex has. You could get some proline 40 series mashers on proline wheels or axial wheels, all of them are 17mm
Nothin' like a 4 on the floor and a V8

    Incorrect.

The Imex stuff ( thats what I have incidently- great tyres ) uses a jumbo sized rim; as such, there are actually quite a few that will fit. The only problem being they are all 14mm hex so far as I know- a bit of a bummer, but I've yet to strip one out. You could try the rc4wd.com aluminium rims- a bit heavier, but you wont strip a metal 14mm rim/hex very easily compared to a plastic one...

The Emaxx Brushless runs 17mm. That is my dilemma. I would like to do a 4.5" wide aggressive dirt tire. Almost impossible to find in a 17mm hex.

I actually have Bigjoes on axial beadlocks and they get great traction on all off road surfaces. They are the widest 40 series tire too

14mm Plastic TRX hex's cost you roughly $8 for the whole set. Why not just get them and run the set you really want? You shouldn't have a problem stripping a hex out as long as you keep the nut as tight as you can on the wheels.

Thanks FoxHound. ORDERED! Can't wait to rip up Iraq with them.
Oh and BTW this was on 17 Aug 10

    Hello,

I am inquiring to see if you make Jumbo Truck wheels and Road Dawg wheels to fit a Brushless E-MAXX (#3908) 17mm hex? Do you or can you make a wheel to fit so I can run these tires? I am specifically interested in the IMEX CLAW DAWGS JUMBO MAXXX TIRES Imex Part No: IMX7411 and the IMEX ROAD DAWG T/MAXX MED Imex Part No: IMX7407. I would like a black or chrome rim for both if possible.

Thank you for your time and help.

Hmmm sounds like someone else is deployed also, I am in the other sand box and I am also looking for bigger tires for my Emaxx. I am going to order the tires for the Summit. They are 17MM Hex and they are 7.1 inches tall. The tires that come with the new EMaxx brushless are 17MM with tires that are 6.3 inches tall. Not sure on the width.

Will the axial oversize rims cause the tires to rub on the body? Axial said they might. I just got some from tower hobbies and now I'm paranoid they will rub. Hey, why don't I just go put them on and I'll tell yall....? Ok, I'll do that.
