Don't have a great spot around here, but about 300 miles east of Portland in Eastern Oregon there is some great stuff. Was biking with my uncle on somebody's HUGE property and kept having to stop and wait for the [slow] Bull's to cross the road. They are large, loud, and scary.

I BELIEVE (things may have changed since I was into mountain biking much more seriously) that Trek's more expensive frames are made in America still.

Personally I have a Scott Aspect and I love it. Price was right too. Just gotta swap out the junk plastic pedals for my Mags I took off my bruiser.

    Here's mine; it's a 2009 Specialized Hardrock it's the exact same one I have.
Specialized rules the first Specialized Hardrock I bought in 1994 in fact I still have it.
If the picture size is too big I am sorry; I did not know it would come out that big

I ride a 2003 Specialized Bighit. I go to Duthie Hill to ride, but I haven't gone in over a month. I'd love to get up to Whistler sometime though.

some nice bikes there folks, I have a specialized hardrock comp myself. It's an old 2001-02 model. It's been great and I love it but I will be buying a new one in the next few weeks now as it's time to move on. Not sure what yet. Been looking at the new rockhoppers and hardrocks. My brother has a new Trek 4500, I really like it, but I'm keen to getting another specialized as it's been such a great bike that last while.

Back in mid 90's I was riding the hottest bike around. Shwinn Homegrown, its the baddest bike I've ever owned. Cost about 3g back then. Shortly after that trek's y frame came out and rockhoppers, pantara, lots of makers were just starting to jump on board the full suspention train. I was the first of us in my area to get a sirious full suspension.

At one point, I had nukeproof headset and hubs,v brakes were an upgrade because they didn't even exsist when I got the bike a year before. Also had switched to avid skelletin brake levers. Can't remember much from that time of my life lol. Kinda like "the busy years", getting set in my occupation and marage/children. Really miss that bike. I ended up trading this bike for a late 80's RM250, and what a trade it was!

How about Giant? I was told they are the ones' making most frames for the other manufactures. Me I like Specialized and Santa Cruze.
Simply the best. The beautiful Traxxas SRT and TCP
