    3905 to brushless

I have a 3905 I'm going brushless next month ... my question is are the differentials the same ?
And the brushless is 17mm , what's the part number for the 17mm split spoke rim ?
    Thank you

^^ Yea, but they look dog gone sweet nevertheless! Black coated SS Rims on the Mashers, coupled with black springs in the background makes for a nice look. I might gotta steal that set up.

^You get more grip that way

Yep, the diffs are the same, everything is the same apart from the power system and motor mounting plate, and even that can still be used just fine

Not sure on the part# question- just look it up on the traxxas website under the exploded views/ optional parts for the BL emaxx

More flotation, not necessarily grip. At least that has been my experience. I got better traction in the snow with them facing the "correct" way, but they dug themselves in faster resulting in a stuck truck.

i did the brushless upgrade to my emaxx a few months ago. but i did not upgrade the wheels just kept them the same. but i did bake em off and tape them to stop the ballooning. but apart from that on 4s lipo batterys i have had no problem with the 14mm hex's stripping yet. i just keep killing drive shafts. but that is to be expected with the power that comes out of the brushless motor.i also kept the original motor mounting plate and just put some tape over the other hole.

    Backwards tires

That was last winter , they have better traction in the snow . I bought my e-maxx just for winter . I live in MI and it's winter or rain here 3/4's of the year. Is the chassis plate the same as well ? And will the 3905 body drop right on ?

Looks good. But if you bought this for winter. Keep in mind do not get the BL ESC wet. Are you keeping your old system for wet weather??
Would you go flip my truck back over??
