I mod everything lol. Hopefully I can turn over a new leaf and keep it box stock, and talk a couple of friends into them for some spec racing.

luckily the slash hopups will largely go straight into the rally.

i'd straight away get steel hollow balls and a centre diff, and rpm knuckles. then a big block mount - there's sure to be plenty of room under that big shell.
... oh, and sorry about your wallet

it just a waste. It will ruin the handling and the ability for the car to drift.
Simply the best. The beautiful Traxxas SRT and TCP

If I were to get one, I would put a nice big 1/16 e-revo wing on it with some rally tires, and do it up Pikes Peak style!

    ^now you're talking

i wouldn't mind building my own bodies - my uni has a forming machine, it could be very useful, and very fun, too.

I am starting with a heavily modified mini Slash VXL so I would get...:

    1) RPM Knuckles
    2) Traxxas CVDS and CVAs
    3) Center Diff
    4) STRC aluminum - Blue
    5) Paint on a clear body to match my design. Ford Fiesta inspiration bit not Ken Block

The idea of a Pikes Peak car is cool but I want to race carpet tracks. I will be updating my LCG chassis design to accept 10th scale lipo packs. Will a 540 motor mount to the stock mounting plate? I may update the powertrain with a Novak Three-80 motor system. The vXl is nice but I like the smoother sensored brushless design. I can also select the Kv I want.
