Well I finally received them, they fit with a little modding. On the rears the center bore needs to be enlarged to 5mm and on the front the bearing hole need to be made a little bigger to use 5x10x4mm bearings

To all the guys that Run jacos on the Jato..

Have you noticed a decrease in top end speed running them compared to the anacondas.. even after changing your gearing..

I put the jacos on my rustler VXL and changed the gearing and was disapointed at the speed loss....I only run anacondas now...and its very expensive compared to the jacos..

The jacos handled fantastic, stopped better and everything, but I just found the rustler and the bandit to be boring with jacos...It just wasnt as wicked fast...

Is this the case with the jato??

The reason you lose top end is because the jacos' dont balloon, all you need to do is gear for more speed.

was you able to drill the fronts so the bearings fit ok? being the drill bit starts at point and takes a few mm to get to the actual size.

I guess you could use a drill bit, but I opted to make a tool to enlarge the hole with.

I just use a bit of 10mm alloy rod turned the end down to fit into the hole between the bearing seats (This is to locate the bit while enlarging the holes).
Then used a chisels to create some burs on the edge to cut the plastic.

The rear wheels only need the centre hole where the axle goes through to be enlarged.
