Slash x4 x2

Summit
MMM 5t
Nice, but it looks like it made things harder to do (stuck on rocks more)
are the extra wheels actually turning under power or just spinning? reminds me of that popular emaxx build. but yea it needs a long bidy, right now it looks as though its simply pulling a trailer.
MAN, Use Common Sense.
Outside? THERE IS NO BOX !
With chains, it would call it a tank.
This is my Summit.
All wheels actually turning under power.
I will make foto report about build ...
Nice. I look forward to seeing the build. Now you just need to make it 6ws as well & it would be all good.
Do all 3 diffs lock & unlock independantlly or are the rear 2 on a "Y" harness set up?
two rear diffs are on a "Y" harness
awesome. please tell us more. correct me if im wrong but it looks like u have added an extra rear tranny to the truck.Originally Posted by Krohpit
im curious as to how you get power to the extra set of rear wheels
lots of close up photos of your handy work would be greatly appreciated
thanks![]()

It surely needs a longer body, would make the whole set up more complete.
Can you break a Rusty?
Umm...No...No, you can't.
The rear diff is powered from a a shaft linked to the second, the second diff has been modified to have a through-shaft; rather tricky to do so its a great bit of engineering.
As for longer bodies- yeah, ideally it would look better with one that covers the 3rd axle, but I defy anyone to come up with more 2 or 3 options to suit something with an ~18" wheelbase and has 3 wheel wells on each side that line up...

awesome, great work![]()

Ultimate Hauler? It needs a big rig hauler cab and tow plate on the rear. That sumit would easily tow a 1 1/2' x 4' trailer with two or three other rc's, ice chest, paint ball equipment or just bringing firewood back to camp on that trialer. My imagination going crazy again. =) If anything I love it.
Broken parts=New better parts
+1, You need a rig body, swear I saw a yellow one one here yesterday, but I can't find it.Originally Posted by nunster
or a custom Uni-mog with a flat deck, maybe splice two proline boulder holder bodies

I agree with some of he others around here, a nice truck shell with flat bed rear would look great.
I would go with the flat bed rear with a spare wheel and tyre, or a rear winch.
deuce and a half body ftw!!
and the bobbed version for us normal guys

Summit 6x6 EXPLODED VIEWS
Second diff
![]()
Invertor gear

Chassis
In the second diff using Integy steel gear. The Traxxas diff gear is not reliable and very fast damage.
I like it, I want one![]()
I wanted to put a really cool signature but I ran
Very inventive, - Great design for the inverter box with some precise craftsmanship. As the pictures were flowing I was curious of how you were going to reverse the rotation of the driveshaft after the second fiff. Good choice. Almost makes me want to make a Summit train set. Wooo Woooo
MAN, Use Common Sense.
Outside? THERE IS NO BOX !
In my 6X6 e-revo 1/16 not used invertor gear (gear in the third diff change from left to right - very simply)
but in the Summit use lock diff and was additionally problems.
Next step - change all CVD to metall and change motor+ESC to Mamba.
I few idea about change body...
Maybe Tamiya 1/14 King Hauler booth...
Maybe made Summit extended from two body...
FTW!
In this r/c hobby, there seems to be a 'thing' about Russians making the most insane modifications, be it mechanical or electrical, or both. I mean, I've seen plenty of great British, American & European builds, modifications & custom jobs, but in Russia the guys just go a little bit further to make something truelly mind blowing & inspiring...![]()
