    My new black rally

    Got one of the first ones that my hobby shop got in today!

    It is most definitely a drift car. I'm almost disappointed that i'm going to have to get another set of wheels so i can actually drive it instead of drifting.

    LOL at the front mount decal!

    Looks pretty nice, and looks like a lot of fun from the vids. I've been boggling my mind about what my next couple cars will be now that I'm working again. This may be one of them.

    I have 2 evaders kicking around I may just end up tossing in the trash.....

    I don't have any tires right now besides some mini slash ones and some super nitro tires that I taced out for ice racing. Ill. Try to.get some better clips up tomorrow.

    Ahh I think they have those too though! Although I'm not sure if those are organized, or just small friend gathering races. I've seen articles on 1/16 drift comps, though. Looks awesome

    Thanks for the vids! Wish my LHS got them in like planned this past Friday... but it's gonna be a couple more weeks until I see mine. Glad you mentioned the tires though, i'll be looking into a grippy set off the bat then.

    I'm running a 2200 2s ***** that i bought when the MERV came out so it's got some time on it and not as punchy as when i got it last year. I've also got a short clip tonight of a 2200 3s ***** in it that i'll get up in a few.

    Video on 3s. The car is terrible to control with a battery taped to the chassis. All the weight up high makes it really unstable. Sliding around was out of the question.

    I lost all my stock packs from the MERV... It goes much better with the 2s in the bay.

    I did have to do a lot of adjustments to the suspension tonight to get everything setup even. Toe was all out of wack and camber wasn't even close to being the same. Hopefully it'll make the car respond better turning left/right. But i imagine that it's still going to need a bit more tuning to get it running right.

    Oh and all the ones i played with at the shop needed to have the shocks topped off with oil. so check that when you guys get em!

    Thanks a lot for the info. I bought some 2000mah 2s 20c LiPO's for this thing. Hope it moves out well. I also have some stock nitro 4tech slick's to put on it. I'm just waiting for the call to come pick it up.

    They got a pic of it next to a mini slash and revo here http://monster.traxxas.com/showthread.php?t=536981 and it's right in there with the whole size thing. I don't think they have to many servo issues with the slash. With the wheel size on the revo might be a different story though...
